1 Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how Junk Cars With Us ("we," "us" or "our") collects, uses and shares information when you visit junkcarswithus.com (the "Site"), call or text us, or sell us a vehicle.

2 Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Contact details: your name, phone number and the address where the vehicle is located, so we can make an offer and pick up the car.
  • Vehicle details: year, make, model, condition, mileage, VIN and photos you send.
  • Ownership and sale records: a copy or record of your photo ID, title, registration, lien release or other documents, and the bill of sale.

We don't collect email addresses, and we don't store your text messages or contact details in a database, mailing list or customer file. We use your phone number and messages only to handle your offer and pickup.

Information collected automatically

  • Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, referring page and the time of your visit.

We do not sell, rent or share your mobile phone number or text messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We don't store your texts or add your number to a marketing list.

5 How we share information

We don't sell your personal information. We share it only as described here:

  • Service providers who help us operate, such as our website host, our phone carrier, Google (for advertising) and tow operators who pick up your vehicle. They may use the information only to provide services to us.
  • Government agencies and databases when the law requires it, such as reporting vehicle purchases to state agencies and to the National Motor Vehicle Title Information System (NMVTIS).
  • Law enforcement when required by law or to report a vehicle we believe is stolen.
  • Buyers of the vehicle or its parts and metal , limited to vehicle information such as the VIN and title records, not your contact details.
  • A buyer or successor if our business is sold or reorganized.

We use Google Tag Manager to manage the tracking tags on the Site and Google Ads to show our ads and measure conversions, such as taps on our call and text buttons after someone clicks an ad.
